Rarity is very excited to be exhibiting in Italy with SAFLEC at Riva del Garda
Rarity will be represented by Nerisha Jairaj , and showcase alongside Saddler Belts and Chic Shoes.
There’s a 3-year waiting list for a stand at Exporivaschuh, after a year of negotiation and with the help of the SA consulate in Milan SAFLEC has secured a small stand.
Exporivaschuh, is primarily marketed as a shoe exhibition, but sees Rarity offering handbags in natural materials as alternate accessories at the show to find ways to enter – what is arguably – the leather capitol of the world. Our selection includes springbok hides and ostrich feathers as identifiable South African materials that offer a unique and unusual look into the European market while celebrating our heritage of natural materials that are South African by design.
A neutral color pallet with accents of yellow and Cheetah print are shown in a variety of shapes , including our signature feather clutch with our other unique interpretation of fashion trends in Europe. Our decision to use the yellow as an accent was based on the late delivery of our Greenery, the Pantone color for 2017. We are delighted that we will get to work more with this in 2017. Red its poloar will need to take a backseat to Greenery , a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade. We love the concept of ‘Greenery symbolizing the re-connection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose’ L.Eiseman . A concept that we embrace in our factory, and hope to share with you .
The idea is to introduce South African products at Exporivaschuh,, and for visitors to be able to view them, with the goal of securing more space for June 2017 to give a larger spread of manufacturers an opportunity to exhibit.
So a busy, exciting start to 2017!
We hope the year ahead is full of Greenery, and new beginnings for you
